A Room Without A View Painting Other Places

"Mitigating Green Poverty... Through Watercolour"

Welcome to my Gallery of Landscapes

This site represents a collection of my paintings, created within the urban shadows, where nature has, to an extent, been walled and fenced from reach. Within this space of enclosure, painting becomes a thread—wending back to the pastoral, touching the ghosts of the commons buried under both boundary and brick. Each stroke is an attempt to diminish the separation from the soil and return to the quiet persistence of the wild beneath the pavement.
